The Kooky Ukes

The Kooky Ukes Wedding BandYou’ll witness the members grab their ukuleles and serve up a sparkling and energetic performance of contemporary and classic chart hits. The Kooky Ukes are the liveliest bunch on the wedding scene, delighting in taking those upbeat tracks you so love and reinventing them with a new flavour. There’s a special originality that comes from the sound of three synchronous ukuleles & three great musicians.

A professional instrumental duo comprising piano and double bass will deliver mellow, sophisticated background music to set the scene for a magical evening to come. A third member can be added if desired, playing either the saxophone or the drums. Sample song list here.

 

 

Solo Pianist (Cocktail or Jazz)

A sleek solo pianist, experienced in all musical styles, is another alternative. (Your wedding venue may have a piano on site, if not, we will bring an electric piano with equivalent sound quality).

 There is a unique authentic quality that comes with an acoustic performance. Even better when it comes from a pair of twins. A guitar, a piano and a couple of wispy voices providing vocals can be the perfect medium as you welcome guests to your celebrations and as they wait for the dinner to move forward. Jaker & Co can arrange this effortless, natural acoustic charm, with a set­list of invigorating tunes from the likes of oldies like Johnny Cash to more contemporary artists like Mumford & Sons and Elbow and some even quirkier ones to change it up. There’s also the option of having just the instrumentals or even adding a drummer into the mix.
